1. Highly disagree with you on this – and would have a ton of doctors that would back me.
   A few questions for you – have you had your genes mapped? If so, what did you pay to do so?
   After that – what was the solution just for you? Approximately how much were you paying for your solution?
   I am curious – as I have seen thousands of people do gene mapping for what nutricellix does for weight management… as well as for multiple other conditions.

   I don’t normally post on a thread of such – but SCAM is a pretty harsh word – and I am not sure of your qualifications to use the word – SCAM… if anything, I feel a possible threat – as there are tons of pieces to the puzzle in addressing nutrition, weight loss, etc. The key component being you – how do you absorb, metabolize, detox, etc – in addition to what you eat, your exercise, fresh air, and water… Just saying – the key component in the mix is YOU – your body – no one elses – and what your genes say.
   My story with nutrigenomics is pretty amazing – and I highly urge people to understand their own genetic road maps if they are looking for answers. One size DOES NOT fit all… 🙂

3. Hello dear, At first I thought that despite all the promises and all, nutricellix would end up becoming a scam and not actually deliver on what they assume to be. Though I had my doubts right from the start but I still felt the need to give them a benefit of doubt, thanks for sharing this wonderful piece of information.

In my opinion Nutricellix is no scam! Yes, they are currently not accredited with the BBB, This doesn’t mean that NutriCellix is a scam, it just means that the BBB doesn’t have a listing for them at this time and may never have one which is not a bad thing either. They have quite a number of ways to make money

Who would have thought that despite all the guarantees, nutricellix would find yourself becoming a scam and not actually delivering what it promised? Although I had doubts from the start, I still felt compelled to give them a try and not yet judge. However, seeing everything that I’ve seen here, DNA alone is expensive to run as a test and then speak to making a supplement from it.     I have seen this before, not this site but others on Nutricellex and one that I had tried out in the past called Thrive. I think these products are gobbled up by people who want to think it is helping them and may in some form actually provide some energy or boost metabolism but no more than what you can get from taking Niacin or B12 complex. The key is diet and exercise!

    As far as the setup, it can be very lucrative. I do have to say it will never be as lucrative for you as it will for Bo, Terry, and Jennifer. It may not be by definition a pyramid scheme but that is how it works if you are going to get in.

    It requires a lot of footwork to make sales but can work out in your favor. If you can get people that get real results and continue to use the product, that is where it is good. reoccurring sales!

    As for me, I am putting my efforts elsewhere.

11. I like how systematic you are in your research and, for sure, I will adopt your techniques. I have, for instance never though of making research about whom the co-founders have been associated with before.
    This is very important.  Usually, I stop with their past: Where there some case against them? I would wait until I put money in a system that just gone public. I got to see how it goes. Will it survive?

This is great information and another reason to practice “caveat emptor” – let the buyer beware. I appreciate the detail you provided about the representative’s past relationships and companies. That’s not often evident and takes extra effort by someone considering joining a company. For someone considering joining NutriCellix, I definitely appreciate your review. My friend got caught up in something designated a pyramid scheme. Unfortunately, he didn’t have something like this review to guide his decision whether or not to join.

14. Very interesting post. I tried to find more information related to NutriCellix but there is very little trusted opinions. That’s why your article is so important, thank you for your clear and transparent opinion. To be fair I’m not convinced to this program and I would not invest time in money in it. There are so many legit and confirmed sources of income in internet that it’s just not worth the risk.

There’s so much crap out there and having a warning in advance really saves me a lot of time and gives me some advice to pass on to others.

26. Nice detective work. I’m a little old fashioned in that I am more a fan of increasing movement and changing diet to suit in order to loose weight. Maybe I have been wrong all of those years, I don’t know, all I can say is that  creating a weight loss formula from an individuals DNA seems like a bit much.  With regard to the MLM aspect, it’s just unfortunate that past bad experiences have led many to place all companies which engage in MLM and other forms of direct sales as scam artists. Despite the fact that some signs do not looking too good for this company, I wish all the best to those who have already invested as from experience I know that direct sales can work if done correctly.

28. This was a very well written review of a new company with products that lose weight at the DNA level?  It doesn’t sound real to me because if new dieting at the DNA level was a breakthrough for real, I would have heard about it in scientific papers, and on the news…… it’s a big deal!

    I liked the fact that the the the product and the company was researched fair and thorough by looking at facts, ownership and participants, and previous activities of ownership. Based on your evaluation, I would not be involved with this company, or its products

Many times companies with health and wellness products have had people working for peanuts and fake goals. With your already done assessment, I won’t have to bother much about it. I love how in-depth this information is, right to what the people did before starting the company, it’s really telling on what they plan for the company and if they have any chance of success. With such a history it doesn’t look like this company is straight-up good, although they could be a good company trying to start fresh. One to watch before decisions are made.

Hmmm, Google can mess up at times with the location as well as other GPS programs (our food delivery drivers always struggle to find us because of this), but it is still strange that it came up with a strip mall… Well, maybe they just have a small office right now? But the background of the first person you’ve mentioned does definitely make me leery. I’d agree with you and say it’s best to avoid this.

35. Judging by your review on NutriCellix, I wouldn’t trust this company. I would be rather inclined to avoid this company and tell other people to stay away and look else where and seek trusted companies instead but avoid this one. 

    My advice to people who are interested in losing weight would be to avoid these types of companies all together, do exercise, eat healthy, go to the gym because I don’t think companies like these are worth it.

    I guess this is some sort of MLM or pyramid thing and that is why your friend wanted you to join, as for the weight loss I have no doubt it will work for some people the placebo effect is very powerful.

39. I like your steps to determining scams or not. I’m the same way. I especially have a REALLY hard time trusting weight loss products and programs. I eat fresh foods, portion control and work out and I’ve always found that’s the best way for my body. Thank you for reviewing this!

40. Hi Tony, I think me and you are on the same wavelength in regards to MLM opportunities.

    There are so many MLM opportunities in the health industry, such as NutriCellix that at least some of them have to be genuine and not scams. But the issue is that you have to a lot of research to find out the real possibilities. It’s like looking for a needle in a haystack.

    Is NutriCellix a scam?. Probably not!  But I would also say it is most likely not a real chance to make any money. As with a lot of MLMs, the product price is too high and their are too many levels in the scheme.

    I genuinely believe MLMs can work for competitively priced products if they structure the MLM correctly. The problem usually is that the MLM founders are too greedy and hence the scheme becomes like a scam.

41. I wouldn’t be interested in NutriCellix, whether it’s a scam or not, reason behind is that the products are very technical. Non-GMO, DNA, AC-11. I myself would have to convince myself first before trying these products, how can I push something I don’t believe in the first place? I’m not angry. I’m just saying, hehe. Anyhow, it’s a good thing you were able to write about this already knowing they’re already in the invite phase. People will have some serious assessment to do whether they should join or not.

    For those who are in the medical field it might be easier for them to know the authenticity of the of this product, but the videos are very expository and simplistic for does who might have doubt about the product find medical persons to validate the explanation gotten from this article.

43. Hi, I haven’t ever heard about this company or product so I can’t tell exactly what is going on there. It maybe be possible or maybe not be to lose weight through DNA. Anything is possible in this world but if there are positive reviews around then maybe it may be legit? If you have someone who have tried it and they say it helped then believe them. Otherwise I would be very skeptical about it because how can you lose weight through DNA? 

    There is always known fact that losing weight with physical training and exersice is far better than any other thing there ever be. Not only that you lose weight but you also get more motivation, energy and you have more self-confidence as well. Me myself I wouldn’t believe it.

Thanks for the in depth research.  The founder being involved with another company that was sued by the FTC is a huge red flag for me.  That is definitely a “stop and don’t pass go” finding for me.  Even if I was ok with that, I’m more than a little concerned about the DNA test.  There is no way I’m giving anyone a sample of my DNA.  It makes me wonder if they’re somehow selling your DNA profile to companies.  This is a hard pass for me.

Two of the financial business partners definitely have a lot of credibility but from what you have written on the others I would be extremely cautious. 54. I am really no expert in health and wellness but I think that DNA analyses with a customized diet or exercise plan will definitely play an important role in the future. Nutricellix is definitely onto something it just appears that there are some holes in the owner’s track record which is a red flag or concern. It proofs again the value of building a long-lasting sustainable business. For me, it is clear that the health and wellness industry is prone to favor MLM business models, which I struggle to grasp why? Tony, maybe you can shed some light on it for me.

At the very least we see that Nutricellix has a secure website, though I have to agree that I will not be joining at least for now. With no mention as to when the products will be available or when the rewards will be paid this product is one to be avoided. Thanks for the info on NutriCellix!

61. You make a good point when you mention that you learned not to jump right in. I also learned that in my years online. Always do your due diligence and research any “opportunity” online. This is why I am grateful to come across reviews such as yours here. I remember Neora or Nerum and I was even approached by sales people who wanted to recruit me. Thank God I didn’t take the offer. I don’tlike pyramid schemes and I don’t like MLMs. If Nutricellix used to be Neora or used to have the same manager, then it isn’t much different, is it?

While sometimes people do start a concept as their first ever initiative, I find that the vast majority of scams come from people with equally scammy or unsuccessful pasts.

Bo’s description of the invite system seems convoluted.  I would send someone my personal link to my website.  The person (who supposedly has already asked for the information) would then request an invitation which I would then send to him or her (after a specific and purposeful 5-minute delay).  AND it seems that the ‘back office” rushed it into play just the night before.  Perhaps these guys have learned something from their previous legal woes?

    As far as I can see, there’s no evidence that this product actually works, and am I correct in reading that there’s no monetary benefit from being an ambassador?  These things are hard enough to be successful as it is but I have no intention of doing all that work for a free tee-shirt!  Next, please! 😉

I believe it’s super important to make sure something is legit and not a scam especially when it comes to consuming.

    And the area where this was supposed to be based in, like you said doesn’t seem to be a very suitable place for this service to exist in.

However, seeing all that I even have seen here, I feel they’re undeserving enough to undertake out.. However, as a doctor, I know that access to other people’s DNA is forbidden, and as far as I can see, in order to be able to help you, the company must know what your DNA is. This is wrong from many ethical points of view. Many secrets of our genetics are hidden in DNA and having an insight into DNA is absolutely at odds with the principles of ethics today. I don’t know if this is scam or not, but if someone decides on their product, they should first inquire about them.

I don’t like any company though that promotes a product or pill as opposed to taking a look at what a person is eating.

Whether it is a scam or legit.  First of all, some of these pills destroyed the bodies My client took a weight loss pill that she didn’t consult anybody about and it also ended her life and made it feel she has diabetes. So it is important you tell your doctor before taking pills for anything especially for weight loss

75. It probably sounds very enticing to people who want to lose weight, but as a rule I never recommend anyone taking a weight loss pill. I always believe that weight loss begins in the mind, and we can couple mind exercises with physical exercises and a healthy diet.

    Of course, that is just my opinion. I know there are products like this out there, and the reason is simply because there are enough people who believe in such products.

And to think that it is on the health and wellness category? Product safety should be our first priority among all.     I am glad I am reading this article again today. It doesn’t get easy in the online world, because indeed there are so many people offering so many products and sham products out there!

    Today I did get an offer of something, while I was extremely busy working online. I ignored the offer. But it kept popping up, even presenting dozens of testimonials which looked so legit. Where I am heading is here: I ended up basing my decision on the presence of a https:// certificate on the website. I felt comfortable and took time off from what I was doing, to attend to the new challenge. But at some point I noticed some inaccuracies, misspellings, etc. I immediately quit!

    I just am not sure how reliable the https:// certificate is. I also noticed that the padlock on this website was black. In some cases it is green. I don’t know if that has any relevance. I did later see the black padlock on everyday trusted websites.

This is information that customers need and you did just that. Giving away DNA feels like giving away one’s social security number. I have learned something new through reading this topic, with regards to DNA, however, i do think this is a bit of a scam, and even with the launch on the 24th November (where i would imagine more information will be released) I can’t see this changing my mind that this is another concept in the health and wellbeing industry which is flawed slightly.

The pseudo-scientific basis presented by this company has all the signs of quackery to dupe unsuspecting consumers. As you point out it is just a preposterous idea that products can be customized to your specific DNA in any cost-efficient and meaningful way. I guess the sad truth is that there will always be people who fall for this kind of thing and because of wishful thinking, financial self-interest, and maybe the placebo effect you will even find people who are willing to provide positive testimonies. Two things you said got my attention and resonated with me right away…since you’ve been in the online business world since 2009, you’ve learned not to dive right into something, and I feel the same way now.  But also, taking forever to make a decision I think causes more frustration than anything else.  I’m glad to see you did extensive research to find out who is behind this company.  To be honest though, there are too many products that they offer, which I feel I’ve seen similar products with other health companies that are MLM as well.  I’m weary of this and also probably a bit biased since I run a health and fitness website myself.  But I really liked reading your review, and it seems that even though there are powerful people behind the company, this is something to be weary of.

95. It is interesting to see how the high level marketing “gurus” jump from one opportunity to the next one. I used to be part of bHIP global, it was expensive and even though the products were good they usually were way more expensive than the competitors in the supplements business. Based in what you wrote it seems that part of bHIP formula is still there and that might be a red flag as well. Thanks for sharing your process as I am going to start doing the same from now on.

I’ve tried several different weight loss products and most of them either make you pooh or just don’t do anything. So it doesn’t surprise me that you felt compelled to research this company and the members behind it. The first guy you mentioned was connected to a pyramid scam which raises a red flag for me. This company sounds like Herbal Life to me. So thanks so much for doing the research and informing the world about companies like this.

116. Although, generally speaking, I’m not too thrilled with NutriCellix either, I like some of the aspects they are embracing. I like this idea of Ambassadorship. It’s cool that they provide a subdomain for their people with appropriate referral links. I believe that’s so important these days and all MLM-like businesses should be doing it. But not often enough they are, at least as far as I know. 

     That being said, I believe $59 for something like that is a pretty damn high cost. I mean, it’s not like we have the option to do with the subdomain whatever we like. Inevitably, it will be an extension of their business. Hence, they will ultimately profit more through it than we ourselves probably ever will. So, why have such a cost?

     I mean, I get it, you have to weed out some of the people that are not serious about this and would apply simply for the sake of the subdomain. But that’s still inappropriate. Either the price should be much lower or it should be something one can earn free of cost by, for example, taking some specific actions. Otherwise, it just feels like an affiliate program that we have to pay for. And that’s usually an extremely bad sign for an affiliate program.

Most MLM companies out there make you purchase a bunch of level in order to become an ambassador. So, I like the fact that Nutricellix only has $59 one time cost.

118. From this review I would wait for an update before checking out the platform a little deeper. Also I don’t like when there are queries concerning the operators and CEO of any scheme. I am not so sure of that product that is provided based on individual testing. There is such a variety of body types and possible factors such as age, medical history that probably should be taken into account. Lastly the compensation plan is still not satisfying for me. I agree with you that their history does not have a good reputation and that it is only reasonable to ask some questions about this company and their products.I find it hard to believe that they can make individual tablets to all people who make this swab tests. Your review does not mention how the system will operate once out of Beta so I think it is a bit early to say if it is a scam or not, but I would not enter it as is stands now. I have yet to be convinced that this product is uniquely customized to every customer and that there are no severe side effects of using it. I recommend being in daily activity and eat healthy fresh food instead.

     Thank you for sharing this unique idea with us. Of course, it does make sense as everyone’s DNA is different. The same way if we want to loose wait, if I try one way which works for me; not necessarily might work for someone else because each DNA and each body type is different. 

     The idea of making or building the whole system out of this idea is amazing because if the customers were to try by their own, they might or might not follow the proper instructions but by building the whole system to draw those right customers in; they can be made to follow those rules by building a good routine and a good discipline.

I wasn’t convinced about the products and science so I decided not to buy. That then ruled me out of wanting to get involved with their business opportunity. 130. I see several strikes against this company. The first is it is an MLM business model that I feel very few make any serious money with it. The second is the use of individuals DNA to custom make a product specific to that person to give the best results. I find it hard to believe that they can do this cost effectively. Otherwise, they use DNA categories where treatments have already been set up and these are not specific to just one person. 

     The third strike is that the people who founded NutriCellox have had questionable past businesses. Therefore I shall be laving this company alone.

I think that the opportunity is a classic MLM with transparent ownership, products and compensation scheme. My question is that how one earth do people come up with this kind of of innovation. The DNA swab was a HUGE red flag to me. It’s apart of your identity. Why would you give that to someone you don’t know? They could use it to steal your personal information/identity in someway. As a doctor, I know that certain genes tend to cause an individual to gain fat faster than others, but what I don’t like is sending swabs for testing. It is very easy to see a person’s DNA from a swab, it is possible to find out if there is a predisposition for a person to get sick, just like if there are hidden genomic malformations that can be found this way. It is a very sensitive  topic and ethically unacceptable. After all, DNA testing costs a lot. We should definitely learn even more about the brand and see if it is a scam.

Here is a health and fitness sight that relies on referrals.  You get started at a one time $59 payment.  You can become an ambassador and try to get people to buy the products that Nutracellix has.  They have been looked at by the government.  This is never a good thing.  I think, based on this, I would not be interested in joining Nutracellix.

I believe an average person should be able to afford the one-time registration fee of $59. Obviously, a lot of people would be impressed to turn up and take part.

     I also love the idea of giving a Nutricellix ambassadorship rank to the truly deserving members as well as making the platform a personalized weight management system for everyone.

156. Hmm, this is an interesting one you got there. One thing i appreciate you saying that one shouldn’t jump right in before doing any research. This is the same scenario. It’s very similar to a lot of those health products out there that tend to over-promise and under-deliver. I would stay away from products or services that are not thoroughly researched and reviewed. 157. I believe Nutricellix is a scam. DNA is extremely expensive to run, let alone for thousands and millions of people which is down right impossible. This is not something one would recommend to anyone, I know I wouldn’t. Giving away one’s DNA  to a third party is an absolute NO! This is a very sensitive topic and very private matter, it should by no means be taken lightly. Thanks for sharing this info, but I would not join this in ever.

I’ve already read a few articles about this company, and some of the reviews were written by yourself, so I’ve had a good chance to assess this platform. I’m really glad I’ve come across these articles before I joined that company. 162. This company still seems to be in its infant stages, and I am not sure it would be worthwhile to join until they have more of a track record.

     You certainly did your due diligence in researching all the owners, and some of them have pasts that are not squeaky clean so this raises another red flag for me.

     Let’s hope that the products are great and sell themselves because this is what ultimately makes or breaks a company like this.

164. I avoid prelaunch programs due to the fact of them being brand new and have not built up their reputation of trust. The Nutriclix does not seem to be a great offer and may be labeled a scam, but before I consider joining and giving them my information the program needs to be online for over a year.

This a great breakdown as to how easy it is to scam people. most people will not investigate a company in this depth to form an opinion. So if the owners and founders of Nutricellix. are the same as those that were operating Neora and Rippln that have been shut down by the Federal Trade Commission, then I am not interested in them. I understand the concept of weight loss through DNA exploration, but I am not sure that I believe the concept is viable.  There are so many factors in weight loss that have to be controlled.  Those identified by DNA might be important but not the only thing.  There is health, environment, metabolism, mental state to name a few.  Your frank article basically said what I was thinking as I started to read.

179. When it comes to health products I am always extremely skeptical especially when it comes to such companies that don’t have a clear stable history behind them. They may not be a scam but the quality of what they offer is questionable at best so I would never risk to try something from them unless it was entirely safe to do so.

180. I’ve fallen for scams a couple of times when looking for options to make extra money, so ever since, I’ve been more cautious with everything I come across.

     It looks like Nutricellix promises a lot, something not unusual in this kind of schemes, but in the end, it looks like it is a scam. I don’t think I would try it based on the review you present.

     We have to be careful with all those programs we see out there. There are many unscrupulous people looking for ways to scam others out of their money.

I’ve heard of several so-called DNA-based supplements, and some companies that do the DNA analysis for you and promise to create a tailor-made supplement for losing weight, anti-aging, brain boost, etc. I’ve never really believed that would be possible, I think no one can prove whether that works or not. 
     This Nutricellix seems to be another “miracle” solution like so many before that only try to make money (and in many cases, successfully) on people’s tendency to believe in “miracle solutions”, mainly because of laziness. There are no magic formulas.

     From my online research NutriCellix is one of the newer supplement MLM’s to hit the market, there’s really no proof supplements created from your DNA gives any additional benefits or anything like that. The success rate will be low and most people will lose money instead of make money. This platform is not grantee.

I have knowledge about SSL certificates but I normally don’t notice them whenever I click on any website regardless if it is for professional or personal reasons, so for that, this was a great eye-opener. It’s a disappointment to see all of the potential this company would’ve had if they hadn’t fail to clearly portray what their background looks like. It all seems so legitimate but just the mention of “sending a DNA swab” is just an immediately no from me. Sending a DNA swap is like selling a part of you to labs where you don’t precisely know what they will do with your personal information.

I love the fact that they try a new approach which is personalized dieting method. We are finding out now more than ever that one size doesn’t fit all so I appreciate this method. However, does it really work? Also is it safe to send my DNA sample in? I am sorry, I value my privacy and I sure do not want to give a third party my DNA. What if it happened to be in the crime scene? Ok too much fiction here but that can happen, just saying. So for sure I do not want to join them. Plus the owners had so many questionable business background.
